White Pizza Dip Pin Test

If you like cheese (which is most people I know) then this recipe is for you. I came across this one day and it looked so amazing that I knew that not only would I pin it, I would also be doing it, and soon! You can find the original recipe with the mouthwatering pictures here. Essentially, you need four kinds of cheese: parmesean, cream cheese, mozzarella and provolone.
You also need four spices. Don't skip this step because it really makes the flavor taste really good. Gather up garlic, oregano, basil and thyme.
You also need to oven roast some tomatoes. Cut them in half and sprinkle them with a little olive oil and salt. Bake under your broiler for about 15 minutes. I would actually use more than are pictured here next time.
Mix up your cheeses and tomatoes, bake, and enjoy!
I wouldn't change anything about this recipe (except the tomato ratio). It came out terrific and reheated very well too. This would be wonderful for a party. We ate it with bagel chips and bread and both were equally good. What is your favorite party dip?

  2. Favorite dip is definitely hoagie dip.

1/2 pound of your favorite deli meats and cheeses (we usually use capicola, hard salami, and provolone cheese), cut into quarter inch pieces
a pint of cherry tomatoes (cut in half)
half of a red or sweet onion (diced finely)
half a head of lettuce (shredded)
    A good sprinkle of basil
    Some cracked black pepper
A half cup or so of mayo (I never measure - this has been a downfall many times)
    A splash of olive oil
A slightly smaller splash of vinegar

Mix all ingredients well. Serve in a bread bowl with slices of bread and Triscuits.
